The United States Federal Trade Commission has issued a bulletin seeking public comment on an application for approval by Sycamore Partners II regarding the sale of 330 Dollar Express stores formerly owned by Family Dollar to Dollar General Corp.
For the fourth quarter ended February 3, Dollar General Corp. posted net income of $414.2 million, or $1.49 per diluted share, compared with net income of $376.2 million, or $1.30 per diluted share, in the period a year prior.
Dollar General will build a distribution center in Amsterdam, NY, the company’s 16th such facility.
