Tamara Childs Opens Permanent Atlanta Showroom

Tamara Childs Collection has opened two new permanent showrooms, in Atlanta’s AmericasMart and in the Las Vegas World Market Center.

At the Atlanta International Gift & Home Furnishings Market, Tamara Childs is showcasing her silver and metal gilded bowls, glassware, barware, plates, trays and decorative accessories.

To create Childs’ custom pieces, fine sheets of gold, silver or copper leaf— in an expanding palette of treatments and colors— is applied over the designs. The pieces are then hand polished and lacquered. In her signature style, Tamara Childs continues this ancient art of creating hand-gilded pieces, all of which are food-safe and hand washable in mild soap, the company said.
