TarHong expanded its Zakarian Pro for Home line of refrigerator storage container systems at the International Home + Housewares Show.
Chef restaurateur Geoffrey Zakarian’s career spans 30 years, with restaurants and bars in Beverly Hills; New York City; Greenwich, CT; Atlantic City; and Hollywood, FL. Zakarian is also the author of two cookbooks and currently hosts Food Network’s primetime hit “Cooks vs. Cons.”
“My goal with this line is to bring innovation, beautiful design and professional restaurant chef sensibility to your kitchen. The results are an incredibly new innovation in food storage, designed to save you money, time and effort in cooking your favorite foods,” said Zakarian.
The Zakarian Pro for Home collection is designed to make it easy to prepare, organize and label ingredients hours before cooking, and to keep the ingredients fresh. The refrigerator storage containers feature a dedicated writing surface, and labeling pens are also part of the launch, so consumers can label and date the food, and use the items within based on their purchase date.
The containers’ removable trays and baskets are designed to keep food fresher longer by lifting them out of liquids and moisture. The removable colander basket is ideal for rinsing, and it can be used for marinating. The insert tray in the line can also be used for steaming food in the microwave.
In addition to the refrigerator storage containers, Zakarian Pro for Home features a shelving and organization system, featuring complementing baking trays with silicone liners and different storing trays with lids, all of which have anticipated availability for fall 2017.
