Homer Laughlin China and Tervis took part in the White House’s week-long Made in America Product Showcase that featured companies that manufacture products in the United States.
“Homer Laughlin is so proud to manufacture in the U.S. and to supply jobs to more than 800 workers in our community. To have been recognized for our commitment to being Made in America was truly remarkable,” said Katie Bricker, director of foodservice marketing, HLC Inc. “HLC has always been interested in American jobs and American manufacturing—we’ve been doing it for 150 years. That’s the kind of commitment we hope to see among all American enterprises.”
Only one company from each of the 50 states was selected to be highlighted in the showcase. Homer Laughlin China represented West Virginia.
Tervis represented the state of Florida. “It’s an honor to represent the 700 employees who design, decorate and build Tervis drinkware with American hands and values,” said Rogan Donelly, president, Tervis.
