Tramontina U.S. Cookware, a subsidiary company of Tramontina USA, recently acquired a 256,000-square-foot building adjacent to its existing Manitowoc, WI-based cookware manufacturing facility.
The company will celebrate this acquisition and kick off construction of an additional 8,600-square-foot office and employee cafeteria with a groundbreaking ceremony at 3:30 p.m. on March 21.
“We are very excited about these projects, as they will expand our production capabilities and better serve our nearly 200 local employees, while providing additional local jobs,” said Antonio Galafassi, president and CEO of Tramontina USA in Sugar Land, TX. “We have been part of the Manitowoc business community for more than a decade, and with the support of an exceptional local workforce and our retail partners, our business operations have grown. We are proud to be supporting American jobs.”
A.C.E. Building Service, located in Manitowoc, will perform the construction work and substantial completion is expected in late August 2017.
