CHICAGO— Trudeau will be showcasing its newest bakeware introductions at the International Home + Housewares Show, here. Launched in 2015, the Maison bakeware line is designed to offer quality and on-trend design at an affordable price, the company said.
“Building upon our retail and consumer centric model, Trudeau will take innovation to the next level in 2017 and beyond,” said Jim Teml, svp/sales and business development, Trudeau. “We’ll utilize all of the attributes that are featured in our 2017 Housewares Design Award winning structured silicone bakeware line and apply similar features and benefits to an equally performance driven structured silicone bakeware line that fits perfectly within specialty mass, grocery and craft.”
Trudeau Maison’s new baking pans come integrated with an exclusive reinforced steel rim for secure handling and silicone technology equipped with both non-stick and flexibility properties. They are freezer, microwave and dishwasher safe, the company said, and are heat resistant up to 428° Fahrenheit.
There are seven new products in the Trudeau Maison bakeware line, including a muffin pan that makes 12 muffins, a 24-muffin mini muffin pan, a square cake pan, round cake pan, loaf pan, fluted pan and baking sheet. The bakeware products all carry a manufacturer’s suggested price of $19.99, except for the loaf pan, which is available for a suggested retail price of $16.99.
Teml also noted that the company will be supporting the new bakeware assortment with additional marketing and merchandising components throughout the year.
“In addition, we will support the core lines with a complementary seasonal expression component that will allow our retail partners to merchandise the promotional side of the business with a category point of difference asset in mind. The program launches later this year with several retail partners who share the same in store and online store experience goals as we do, which are extremely focused on pleasing today’s baking consumer,” he said.
