LAS VEGAS— Among Twin-Star International plans for the Winter Las Vegas Market was making its electric fireplace furniture more distinctive even as it made moves to broaden the range of furniture options it offers.
In electric fireplace television stands, distinctive can be elegant. For example, the contemporary model 26MM6340-W509 electric fireplace TV stand sports a Carrera marble top and a roasted walnut finish that complement antique brass-look hardware and matching legs. Dimensions are 59.5-inches wide by 17.375-inches deep by 30-inches high. The central fireplace set for introduction with the piece offers the 125 flame effects generated by Twin-Star’s Spectrafire Plus customizable flame effect technology.
Other introductions include an electric fireplace TV stand with rustic styling, model 26MM6368-I624, that replaces what might otherwise be glass in the cabinet doors with wire mesh and swaps out hidden with decorative hinges. The TV stand, another Spectrafire Plus item, comes in an Asher light finish on real wood veneer and solids and with dark pewter hardware. Dimensions are 74-inches wide by 17.375-inches deep by 32-inches high.
Among the latest group of Twin-Star introductions, the scope of style choices has become notably diverse.
“We’re offering more sliding door options in different finishes and even a two-toned barn door-style piece,” said Angela Scarbrough, Twin-Star senior product marketing manager. “And we’re doing two versions of an industrial fireplace TV stand on wheels.”
Those electric fireplace TV stands, model 26MM60128-O1555 and model 26MM60131-O156, both come in at 63-inches wide by 17.375-inches deep by 33.75-inches high with real wood veneer and solids, dark pewter hardware and plank tops along with matte black faux wheels and Spectrafire electric fireplace inserts. The 26MM60128-O1555, in a washed oak finish, houses a central Spectrafire Plus fireplace insert with an open media shelf above. On either side of the central elements, cabinets with wire-mesh doors provide storage.
The 26MM60131-O156, in a white washed oak finish, also houses a Spectrafire Plus fireplace insert but has a partitioned open media shelf that extends the width of the TV stand above the box and flanking cabinets fronted by batten doors. Twin-Star also is rolling out the two TV stands on wheels with central storage rather than electric fireplace inserts.
Scarbrough added that Twin-Star is introducing more color to its electric fireplace TV stands including red and distressed blue examples. The model 18MM6338 fireplaces, whether in red or blue, mount an off-center electric fireplace insert next to a cabinet with a single adjustable shelf, a glass-front door with wood mullions and antique nickel hardware. At the top of each is an open center media shelf with a small drawer on either side. Dimensions are 52-inches wide by 15.5-inches deep by 30-inches high.
Twin-Star offers a variation on the product with a single partitioned shelf on top and a width of 47.375 inches. A similar fireplace TV stand in the same colors has a central fireplace flanked by cabinets with wood mullion glass doors, a central open shelf flanked by drawers and a 54-inch depth.
The colorful fireplace TV stand introductions debut as elements in Twin-Star’s expansion of its e-commerce focused Omni furniture line. With 30 new items launching and a variety of fresh finishes rolling out as well, the Omni line will broaden with kitchen stands, including a “very industrial” model with a stainless steel top, Scarbrough said, as well as desks, accent tables and media consoles, all in addition to the TV stands.
Outside Omni, Twin-Star continues to offer new wall units, with introductions incorporating asymmetrical shelving. It also is expanding its non-Omni desks, with introductions that include device-charging capabilities, bookcases, and wine and curio cabinets.
