HSN and Good Housekeeping magazine have selected Michael Stoll of Urban Trend as one of nine finalists in the HSN/Good Housekeeping search to find America’s next great entrepreneur and new consumer product.
Stoll will be featured on HSN’s American Dreams and in the December issue of Good Housekeeping, on newsstands November 15. He will debut a range of Urban Trend’s newly launched line of kitchen gadgets on HSN on Monday, December 5, from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m. EST and Tuesday, December 6 from 7 a.m. to 8 a.m. EST.
“We’re honored to have been recognized as such an integral part of the kitchen by two lauded entities,” said Stoll, co-founder of Urban Trend. “The competition might be fierce, but it’s exciting being amongst the best in a contest filled to the brim with fun, innovative and creative designs.”
The nationwide contest run collectively by HSN and Good Housekeeping offers brand recognition and retail opportunities to a passionate entrepreneur with a unique product. Nine finalists were chosen from hundreds of submissions and the winner will have their product tested by the Good Housekeeping Institute for a chance to earn the Good Housekeeping Seal. The winner will also appear in Good Housekeeping’s April 2017 issue and will be invited to sell their product on-air at HSN following the issue release.
A complete list of the nine finalists can be seen on HSN’s American Dream’s webpage, which includes Urban Trend’s Mistral mandoline slicer, which is designed as a two-way slicer for fruits and veggies that is said to cut produce twice as fast by slicing in two directions.
