Honoring design excellence for the art of living, the Housewares Design Awards is the premiere design award competition focused on the housewares industry. HOMEWORLD BUSINESS® presents the awards with educational support from the International Housewares Association. Sponsors of this year’s awards were DuPont Teflon and George Little Management. At the ceremony, Merchandising Excellence Awards were also given to leading retailers, which were selected by HomeWorld Business editors.
From more than 300 entries, 65 finalists were selected representing 13 housewares categories. Finalists were selected by a panel of independent judges (coordinated by IHA) based on design believed to differentiate a product with unique appearance and/or function. Best in Category awards were presented in each category.
