LAS VEGAS— Walker Edison has been expanding the range of home furnishings it offers and, at the Winter Las Vegas Market, it will build on those initiatives in segments including occasional furniture.
The company will offer 22 new coffee tables, side tables, entry benches, bookcases and sofa tables in styles including retro modern, Scandinavian and industrial. Walker Edison will feature a range of looks including mixed material construction, such as pine-finish board with gold metal and acorn-finished board with black metal. Singular wood finishes the company will offer include driftwood, black, espresso, barn wood, natural oak and gray oak.
Walker Edison makes a statement in bookcases for the winter market introduction by featuring elements such as black pipe, natural wood, a white paint finish and classic gold finished metal to pace changing trends, the company noted.
In addition, Walker Edison is bringing two new casual dining sets to the winter market. A gray oak all-wood seven-piece set pairs a rectangular table with ladder back dining chairs, and an antique brown wood five-piece set surrounds an antique brown base and white round top dining table with matching ladder-back chairs.
In addition, Walker Edison will introduce 11 mirror designs in two distinct frame styles: natural fir wood and metal. In the wood looks, mirrors come in round, rectangular and octagonal shapes that provide a modern twist, the vendor noted. In contrast, Walker Edison added, the copper, gold and black metal frames provide rich accents for glam interiors.
Bedroom has become Walker Edison’s fastest growing product category, the company asserted, so for the winter market, it developed a 14-item introductory slate consisting of queen beds, bunk beds, headboards, a bedroom media console, two dressers and three nightstands. Metal pipe, wood panel and platform beds exhibit traditional to transitional styles, according to Walker Edison. Looks also include all natural wood, gunmetal, white and natural wood combinations.
At the same time, Walker Edison will expand its largest product segment: entertainment furniture. It will add 15 standard and three fireplace TV consoles in styles such as mid-century modern, industrial and transitional. Mixed material constructions include white painted wood with natural and acorn finished veneer combinations as well as black painted wood with gray metal accents and clear glass doors. Other constructions feature wood looks in black, white, acorn and natural finishes. Introductions come in widths ranging from 34-inches to 62-inches.
Home office introductions include two retro modern desks, one incorporating a white painted top with metal hairpin legs, the other a white top with natural legs in a pencil design. A third desk, comprised of a white painted base with walnut veneer top and bronze knobs, arrives in a transitional style.
