Wayfair has expanded its current appliance offering to include major appliances from GE and GE Profile.
For the first time, consumers in 25 cities across the U.S. can purchase GE washers, dryers, ranges, dishwashers and refrigerators on Wayfair.com with nationwide rollout in early 2018. The company will offer two-day delivery in most markets.
Consumers can view GE appliances in their homes via Wayfair’s virtual reality technology and explore 3D imagery of a wide selection of appliances with the company’s digital shopping experience.
The new WayMore shopping experience leverages Wayfair technology, allowing shoppers to learn about the product features built into the products, such as built-in Keurig K-Cup brewing systems in refrigerators, or Wi-Fi connectivity that uses voice-control technology to heat water for coffee or tea. The platform also provides a detailed product overview including dimensions, available finishes and protection plans, as well as shipping and return information.
