Dollar General this week offered flexible assorted sizes and counts of Ziploc Space Bags or flexible totes with digital coupons for additional savings of $1 off of $6.50 to $12 regular retail. As part of “Affordable Solutions” under its “School Savings,” the retailer featured a three-cube storage, bookcase or side table for $16, as well as $4 foldable storage cubes, and a 10-pack of hangers for $1.25. Sterilite 106-quart clear storage totes were on sale for $12.50, and a 30-gallon tote for $10. Meijer spotlighted 20% off savings on Sterilite industrial totes, and featured a Sterilite 105-quart latch box for $9.99. In its weekly ad, Walmart invited shoppers to ring in the new year by getting “clean, tidy and organized.” It highlighted every day prices on its Mainstays six-cube organizer for $28.24 and $3.88 for a Mainstays storage bin or half bin two-pack. A Sterilite three-drawer wide weave tower was offered at a $22.44 every day price, while a two-bushel laundry basket from the brand was highlighted at $7.44. A Mainstays two-tier garment rack or four-tier expanding shoe rack was featured for $14.88. Also featured under every day pricing was a Home Logic two-bushel hamper for $7.44, Sterilite 23.7-gallon or 95-quart EZ carry tote for $9.97 each and Sterilite 28-quart tote, 6-quart shoebox five pack or 12-quart tote two pack for $4.38. Kmart put the spotlight on “National Organization Month” in its weekly ad, with two-packs of tinted storage boxes for $5.99 and a “your choice” $7.99 for 12-gallon flip-lid tote or 17-gallon rugged tote. The retailer also offered a sale on Essential Home eight-pack plastic hangers, at 99 cents. Target invited shoppers to “make space” on its weekly ad, offering a “Weekly Wow” savings on Sterilite ultra clear 70-quart latching bin for $7, Sterilite 54-quart swing-top waste can for $7.99 and two-bushel laundry basket for $6.99. Under its Room Essentials brand, it advertised 18-pack hangers for $2, 11-inch fabric storage bins for $5.99 or Y-weave bins for $6, medium three-drawer cart for $9.99, six or 10-shelf hanging closet organizer for $10, and 11-inch six-cube organizer for $29.99. Shopko had a 20% off sale on plastic storage, including a “your choice” $29.99 sale on Studio A five- or 10-drawer carts, as well as 40% off closet organization with a spotlight on a Whitmor double rod closet for $39.99. Shopko also advertised 50% off stainless steel waste cans as well as modular storage, with a $29.99 sale on a Neu Home 30-liter stainless steel waste can with 5-liter bonus waste can, and a Neu Home six-section cube for $39.99, respectively. Shopko also offered a two-day bonus buy on Sterilite 66-quart clear totes, at $5.49.
