Williams Sonoma Takes Hestan Cookware On Tour

Williams Sonoma is hosting a 10-city tour as part of the retailer’s launch of Hestan NanoBond cookware.

Kicking off April 26 in New York City, the four-month #titaniumtour will traverse the country and culminate in San Francisco on August 23. The other eight cities on the tour include Natick, MA; Prussia, PA; Atlanta, GA; Nashville, TN; Edina, MN; Houston, TX; Bellevue, WA; and Beverly Hills, CA.

Each city on the tour will feature an exclusive cooking demonstration from a local chef using cookware that showcases the new Hestan line. All proceeds from the tour will benefit No Kid Hungry, a campaign ending childhood hunger in America by connecting children and families in need with meals and cooking education.

“As the official launch partner for Hestan NanoBond we’re excited to host the Titanium tour in 10 cities across the nation, offering exclusive culinary experiences with top chefs in our stores,” said Janet Hayes, president of Williams Sonoma. “NanoBond exceeded our expectations and we can’t wait for customers around the country to witness its unparalleled performance and durability firsthand.”

According to Williams Sonoma officials, the NanoBond cookware features a patented, multilayer structure of titanium-based alloys that bonds directly to stainless steel through an environmentally friendly and chemical-free process, creating thousands of superdense nano layers on the cookware surface. The cookware is said by the retailer to be durable and exceedingly resistant to scratches, staining and salt pitting.
