Winix’s new WiFi-enabled air purifier, which was previewed at the International Home + Housewares Show, is now launching at retail on HomeDepot.com.
According to the company, the model HR1000 air cleaner features a five-stage air filtration system, smart sensors and PlasmaWave air purification technology, which works in tandem with the Winix Smart app to give consumers access to real-time data with notifications, historical data and the ability to adjust and control the air purifier.
“With both our on-product LED air quality indicator and Winix Smart app interface, the HR1000 allows our customers to visually see their air purification products in action. Being able to actually see on the app how often harmful ultra-fine particles are in your indoor air legitimizes the need for an air purifier,” said Erik Carlson, marketing manager, Winix America. “With an average of 90% of our time spent indoors, what remains most crucial to us is that the products truly deliver on our promise of clean air.”
The accompanying Winix Smart app is also now available on iTunes and Google Play.
