World Kitchen Adds Chicago Cutlery, Pyrex Containers

CHICAGO— World Kitchen is launching the Chicago Cutlery Series Line collection at the International Home + Housewares Show, here.

According to the company, the collection is equipped with both classic and artisan blade knives along with different handle material options such as soft grip, dual material and beechwood.

The Series Line collection includes a multi-purpose Sandwich Hero knife. The company said the jar-friendly knife is designed to spread condiments, cut cheeses and slice bread and tomatoes.

The knife has visually distinctive patented pinch grips that guides users for a more controlled cutting experience, the company said. It is also available in stamped and forged options.

The Sandwich Hero knife’s blade has a 26-degree edge angle and hollow grind to allow for sharpness and longevity. The high-carbon stainless steel blades are also designed to resist stains, rust and pitting.

The entire Chicago Cutlery Series Collection of knives is available in cutlery block sets and sold individually and will have a suggested retail price range of $8.99 to $129.99. The collection will be available nationally in September.

World Kitchen will also introduce the Pyrex Love collection of storage containers. According to the company, this design celebrates the Pyrex legacy with a limited edition set of fun and colorful pieces featuring heart motifs.

The containers are made of glass which are pre-heated oven, microwave, fridge, freezer and dishwasher safe. The BPA-free plastic lid is top-rack dishwasher safe. The non-porous surface does not absorb food odors, flavors or stains, the company said. The collection is available in five colors: white, butterscotch, bondi, cadet and purple.

The Pyrex Love collection will be available nationally with additional limited edition items launching early summer 2017. Each Pyrex storage container will have a suggested retail price of $5.99.
