World Kitchen has received two Good Design awards, one for its Prime by Chicago Cutlery collection and one for its Pyrex gadgets line.
According to World Kitchen, Prime by Chicago Cutlery was redesigned from tip to grip, and features an ergonomic handle that conforms to the contour of the hand. The Pyrex kitchen tools and gadget collection is designed with a single-body nylon and silicone construction for durability and easy cleaning.
“We’re honored to be recognized by such a prestigious program known for design excellence for Prime by Chicago Cutlery and Pyrex gadgets, especially with several thousand submissions from across the world,” said Austin Rothbard, president of the Americas at World Kitchen.
The Good Design award is presented by The Chicago Athenaeum Museum of Architecture and Design in cooperation with the European Centre for Architecture, Art, Design and Urban Studies.
