World and Main, parent company of home environment appliance manufacturer Comfort Zone, appointed new members to its executive team in an effort to accelerate its strategic growth initiatives.
Ned Finch has been appointed as COO and leads the company’s operations and integrated supply chain teams including safety, plant operations, sourcing, replenishment and demand planning, logistics and the China office.
Finch was previously at Jarden Corporation/Newell Brands, and held roles including svp/global supply chain and operations where he had responsibility for 15 distribution centers and 14 manufacturing centers and drove significant improvements in safety, quality and customer service, the company said.
Brenda Heffelfinger has been appointed chief marketing officer and head of product management. Heffelfinger has more than 25 years of business and marketing experience, most recently serving as a marketing executive for Newell Brands. Prior to that, Heffelfinger served in various senior marketing roles at DuPont, Black & Decker and others, the company said.
Nick Pendrous has been appointed CIO and GM, leading the company’s technology team and strategic technology initiatives and is the GM for the company’s e-commerce business. He recently served as COO for Dotcom Distribution, a warehouse and fulfillment service business for e-commerce retailers and manufacturers, where he oversaw warehouse automation, ERP implementations and infrastructure improvements, the company said.
