Zak Designs is expanding its Bzyoo collection by adding the new Rebel collection to the offering. Bzyoo tableware was featured at Zak’s Forty One Madison showroom during the spring New York Tabletop Market.
The Bzyoo concept mixes melamine, stainless steel, glass, stoneware and porcelain and mixed materials designed by Michael Cleghorn, an Australian-based designer, in collaboration with Zak Designs.
The Rebel collection is a coordinating assortment of stoneware and melamine dinnerware and serveware. Available in black, white or taupe, the collection includes a dinner and salad plate as well as a serving platter, a pair of salad servers, and two sizes of bowls.
The stoneware dinner plates in the Rebel collection feature antique rose gold treatments that merge artwork from a variety of cultures, including Chinese, French, Indonesian and Indian to create a cross-cultural look. The stoneware bowls are all embossed, creating a textural mix, and the melamine pieces offer a new matte/gloss finish.
