After initially launching at last year’s International Home + Housewares Show, Maker Homeware, a division of Iris USA, is now bringing new cookware introductions to the 2016 show. The division is introducing steam grills, stainless steel cookware and more. The round and rectangular steam grill pans feature a tempered glass lid, which locks in steam for up to 35% faster cooking times, said the company. The pans come in a choice of midnight black or copper bronze. Coated with the company’s non-stick Ceramtec ceramic coating, these pans offer easy release of foods, the company said. Reservoirs in the sides of the pans allow excess fats and oils to seep away from the foods. Available now, suggested retail prices are $89.99 for the rectangular and $99.99 for the round steam grill pans. Maker Homeware will also be presenting its new line of SmartSteam pans. Available in six different sizes, including both shallow and classic shapes, these pans utilize SmartSteam technology to lock in foods’ natural moisture, allowing the user to cook using less water and oil, according to Maker. The company will also introduce several cookware sets and open stock pieces.
