Casabella has named Jean-René Gougelet as company CEO. He formerly served as president and CEO of Arc International and Mikasa, and was also president of Burnes Home Accents. Bruce Kaminstein, current CEO and founder of Casabella, has been appointed executive chairman, and will focus his efforts on product development and marketing, according to the company. “Our business is changing, and we need to not only be responsive, but to help shape the future of this business,” said Kaminstein. ”Bringing in Jean-René at this time will allow me to focus full time on developing innovative products, reaching new consumer markets and formulating strategic initiatives.”
