Lodge Manufacturing Company is expanding its cast iron enamel cookware assortment at the International Home + Housewares Show. As cast iron cookware has continued to gain momentum in the market, according to vendors, the 120-year-old company, located in South Pittsburg, TN, has launched new pieces that focus on color and design. With an emphasis on color, Lodge has added new Dutch ovens to its cookware collection. The company’s 7-quart oval enamel cast iron Dutch ovens are oven safe up to 500° Fahrenheit. In addition, they are useful for broiling, braising, baking or roasting and can also be used to sauté, simmer or fry on the stovetop, the company suggested. With a manufacturer’s suggested retail price of $147.50, the new 7-quart ovens come in two colors: red and oyster white. The company has also added gray to its enamel assortment. A 6-quart round Dutch oven is available for a suggested retail price of $115.
