Non-stick coating leader Whitford Worldwide has restructured its worldwide management with the election of company veteran Anne Willis to president and CEO. Whitford founder Dave Willis, president of Whitford for 50 years, was named chairman of the company’s board. Anne Willis had been Whitford’s manager for Europe and head of the company’s global management team the past 24 years. Whitford, based in Elverson, PA, manufactures the world’s largest line of fluoropolymer coatings for non-stick and decorative applications. The company markets non-stick housewares coatings under such brands as Eterna, Excalibur, Eclipse, Halo, QuanTanium Fusion and Xylan. “I’m about to turn 80, and it was time for the next logical step in the company’s growth," said Dave Willis. "Anne has proven her talents in the tough European markets, and I have every confidence that she is more than ready for the increased responsibilities.” Anne Willis said, “I’ve got quite an act to follow, but given the worldwide management team we have in place, and the new technologies we’re announcing, I have no doubt we will continue the remarkable growth that Whitford has enjoyed for many years.”
