Dallas Expanding Housewares Resources For Summer Market

In addition to expanding housewares resources at the upcoming Dallas Total Home & Gift Market, the Dallas Market Center is giving the heart of the housewares neighborhood in the 2500 aisle of the Trade Mart a design makeover to create a welcoming destination, the company said.

During the past two years, housewares resources in Dallas have grown by more than 50%, the market said, including new and expanded corporate showrooms, rep rooms and a shared showroom space that debuted in January.

“Our new housewares area in the Trade Mart is being redesigned to reflect our commitment to providing buyers the best housewares resources in the country,” said Cindy Morris, president and CEO of Dallas Market Center. “After successfully debuting the housewares shared showspace in January, we continue to grow the surrounding spaces with new housewares lines including Zwilling J.A. Henckels, Dexas, Le Creuset and Tag.”

Before the June summer market, remodeling efforts will include new lighting, signage, décor pieces and a demo area that will be installed in the Trade Mart. The demo area, which will be in the housewares shared showspace in Trade Mart 2535, will give exhibitors an area to showcase their housewares and buyers the opportunity to discover new resources.

Additionally, HTI will continue its partnership with the Dallas Market Center by offering retailers the ability to buy on a corporate discount plan.

Dallas Market Center will also host the Housewares Block Party during market, on June 23 from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. in Trade Mart 2535 to celebrate the expanded space and welcome new and returning exhibitors and buyers. The event is sponsored by GOURMET INSIDER®.

The Dallas Total Home & Gift Market is scheduled to take place from June 22 to June 28.
